On March 12, 2025, the State Police launched the European Union Internal Security Fund 2021-2027 project No. VP/IDF/2024/7 “Establishment of a Digital Forensics Data Processing Platform in the State Police.”

 

INFORMATION ABOUT THE PROJECT

Nr. VP/IDF/2024/7 “Establishment of a Digital Forensics Data Processing Platform in the State Police.”

Purpose

Enhancing the efficiency of the State Police in combating cybercrime and serious and particularly serious crimes related to cybercrime.

Main activities
  • Procurement of computer hardware, specialized equipment, and software;
  • Acquisition of server systems, network devices, and network storage arrays;
  • Establishment of a digital forensics data processing platform;
  • Improving personnel qualifications through training courses;
  • Organizing a regional-level seminar on cybercrime prevention and enforcement.

     

Funding

Total budget: 2 000 000 EUR

Internal Security Fund financing: 1 500 000 EUR

State budget financing: 500 000 EUR

March 12, 2025 – February 28, 2026
