Project no. Within the framework of EEZ/TM/2022/7 project "Strengthening of the capacity of forensic system and inspection of the site of the event", the State Police purchased eight vehicles: four “Peugeot Expert” and four “Renault Traffic”, as well as four trailers intended for the transport of mobile inspection rooms to the scene of events.
In the future, experts of our Bureau of the Criminalistics Department will be able to work more productively outside the laboratory as close as possible to the scene of the incident, thereby significantly improving and speeding up the process of collecting evidence and fixing traces necessary for expert examinations. All eight cars are all-terrain vehicles with special interior and exterior lighting.
Taking into account the specifics of the work of forensics, car cabins and luggage compartments were rebuilt in such a way as to make the everyday life of experts as easy as possible – the cabins have table tops for filling out documents and packing evidence, while the luggage compartments are equipped with shelf systems where everything you need can be conveniently placed. On the other hand, there is a retractable awning on the side of the vehicles, so that the forensics can process and pack the evidence even in adverse weather conditions.
